Job Description
Extra-Curricular Activities Manager
Qualifications:
1. Current WV Teacher Certification
2. Employee of Hardy County Schools
3. Demonstrated coaching experience (Head Coach at Varsity level preferred)
Immediate Supervisor:
? Athletic Director/Principal
Evaluation:
Performed annually by the Athletic Director and Principal in accordance with Evaluation Policy of Hardy County Schools
Job Goal:
To provide assistance in administration of both the curricular and extra-curricular activities at the East Hardy School Complex.
Responsibilities:
1. Assists in providing supervision for all extra-curricular and co -curricular athletic events as directed by the Principal and Athletic Director
2. Assists in the development of athletic schedules, and management of co-curricular activities.
3. Consults with the Athletic Director/School Secretary on all financial transactions by the various departments.
4. Foster good school/community relations by providing information to the community through available resources
5. Plan and coordinate a master calendar of events in cooperation with the Principal
6. Assists in providing eligibility lists for activities governed by the WVSSAC
7. Assist in the maintenance of safe and efficient functioning of facilities for events
8. Assists in collecting student information and maintains necessary files
9. Assists in the enforcement all policies, and rules of the WVSSAC.
10. Approximately 120 nights and evenings, 2 weekends a month

? Keeps Athletic Director and Principal informed of necessary information
? Promotes good sportsmanship
? Fosters positive relations with opposing schools
Salary
Commiserate with 45 minutes of planning period buy-out per semester, @ current rate of $1500.00.
Contracts end annually
