Teaching: I have been a substitute teacher in Hardy County schools since 1997.
Attendance Director: I have been an attendance director since 1997, also.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

Teaching: The opportunity to open and influence the minds of students.
Attendance Director: Helping solve problems that prevent students from attending school all the time.

Q: What is your favorite class to teach?

Teaching: Social Studies
Attendance Director: Assisting in rewards/awards for students with perfect or faithful attendance.

Q: What is the hardest thing about teaching?

Teaching: Dealing with students who do not want to learn.
Attendance Director:
Taking truant cases to court.
