Moorefield FFA Participates in the
85th Annual State Judging Event.
T he West Virginia State Judging Contest was held on September 24,25 and 26.
The Moorefield FFA Chapter participated in the contest, which was the 85th annual
event held at West Virginia University. FFA Chapters across the state participated
in 15 different events related to jobs in the agricultural field. This year over 950
students from 55 chapters participated in contests. The winners in each event will
represent West Virginia at the National FFA Convention this year.
This year the Moorefield FFA Chapter participated in eight different contests; those
were as follows:
Agricultural Mechanics
Dairy Cattle
Entomology (insects)
Livestock
Poultry
Equine
