CTE programs include 4 courses. After completing them, students can take an industry exam to earn a workforce credential. This may lead to entry-level certifications and even college credit. Our programs align with a local college for more dual credit options. For students not planning to attend college, CTE offers work-based learning opportunities to gain real-world experience while earning high school credit.
High School Credit in Middle School
Middle School CTE ignites curiosity and helps students discover their passions, empowering them to envision a future doing what they love! Students can explore exciting hands-on career and technical education (CTE) initiatives right in our classrooms. At Hardy County Schools, 8th graders have the unique opportunity to jumpstart their high school journey by earning credits upon successfully completing any of the following courses.
