Our Vision
…fully functioning, healthy, safe and educated families
Our Mission
…to support families in achieving self-sufficiency and personal well being through networking and education
This community resource directory is the result of an extensive effort by the Grant and Hardy Counties Family Issues Task Force and Eastern Regional Family Resource Network, Inc. as well as a number of participating human service agencies to help families, consumers, and service providers locate resources available to residents of Grant and Hardy Counties.
The Eastern Regional Family Resource Network, Inc. is part of a statewide effort to help build the capacity of local communities to get things done. These local community organizations help people help themselves. Family Resource Networks connect people and organizations, develop community leaders, build trust, provide useful information, promote civic discourse on public issues, explore community values, identify problems, secure resources, and support a wide variety of local initiatives to address problems and improve the quality of life in West Virginia communities. Collectively, these local community organizations have contributed to generating tens of millions of dollars in discretionary private and government investment in West Virginia.
The Grant and Hardy Counties Family Issues Task Force works in collaboration with the Eastern Regional Family Resource Network, Inc. to identify community needs in Grant and Hardy Counties and to develop a plan to meet those needs. One of the primary goals of the Task Force is to increase the involvement of individuals and families in this process.
For information on how you can get involved, please call the Eastern Regional Family Resource Network, Inc. Headquarters at 304-822-5787.
