Liam Nesselrodt received the honor of second alternate at the Regional Math Field Day at Potomac State College. Liam is a 4th grade student at MIS. This is quite an honor and we are so proud of him! Congratulations Liam!

MIS was so fortunate to have author Sara Shepard with us today! It was a fun filled adventure for our students and great advice and preparation as we take the writing assessment tomorrow. A huge shout out to Word Play of Wardensville for hosting the event! Each student went home with an autographed copy of Ms. Shepard's newest book Penny Draws A Secret Adventure, which is the third book, in what we learned will be a 6 book series. She is also known for authoring Pretty Little Liars, which was then turned into a television series. We hope this inspired each student to work hard tomorrow and work for their dreams in the future.
