Hardy County Schools will have a three hour late arrival on Monday, September 25 for our first Teacher Learning Teams meetings of the year. Please note that school will begin three hours LATE.

MIS will begin their only school fundraiser of the year selling chocolate today. Students participated in an assembly explaining the fundraiser and the attached flyers will be coming home with all students today. Starting 9-20-23, if you complete and return the top of the gold form your child can bring home their first box of chocolate. Cost of chocolate bars are $2.00 each. Students check out a box of 30 bars. All money is due back by October 17, 2023. If you have questions please call the school 304-530-3450.

Student transfer forms are now due. If your child transfers in from out of county or transfers from one side of the county to another, it's time to submit the annual transfer form. The Eastern Regional Family Resource Network is hosting Celebrate the Family this Saturday, June 10th, from 10 AM until 1 PM at Brighton Park. There will be free food, games, activities, and many great community resources. All are welcome!
MIS Ready to learn day will be held August 3, 2023 from 9am to 3pm.
Parents/Guardians will be able to complete the beginning of the year paperwork. Paperwork must be completed at the school. If you can not attend it will come home with students on the first day of school.
At this time parents/guardians only will be able to find out who their child's teacher is for the upcoming school year.
MIS Summer SOLE information is coming home today with those students who signed up.
Friday, May 26 is now a full day of school for all students. Monday, May 29 there will be no school for students or staff in observance of Memorial Day. Tuesday, May 30 is a three hour early release for all students and is the last day of school for the 22–23 school year.
